Art work display of Pedro de Campana at Seville Museum
An interim display of the art works, which were created by the Flemish painter of the Renaissance period, Pedro de Campana, have been put on display at the Seville’s Museo de Bellas Artes, this summer.
Museo de Bellas Artes is a fine arts museum in Seville of 17th century, which has the collections of the art from the Gothic era to the current period.
The art display includes a collection of nearly 15 paintings on wood, showing off a range of religious scenes. The guests will get to see the art exhibit until 10th October, 2010.
The organizers have affirmed that the pictures which were painted by Pedro de Campana between 1542 and 1557, recites the scenes between the Virgin Mary and her parents.
A detailed explanation about how the items were restored and the processes used for these paintings and sculptures are given to the art buffs.
As the art display has to be shifted to its original place in the coming days, catching the sight of these brilliant works so close is making the event more special and unique.
The venue has explained that “the exhibition let them to see the great works that comprises of the altarpiece of Santa Ana de Triana church, which has taken place in the Andalusia Institute of Historical Heritage.”
The other highlights at the art exhibition are the portrait of Jorge Manuel and the sculpture of St Jerome.
